Community Question of the Week (6/21/10 - 6/25/10)
June is a month of many graduations. Although college diplomas have by now been relegated to the special place where all important documents reside, in most other centers of learning the long-awaited ceremony is – or has just been – upon us. Whether preschool, elementary, middle or high school, graduation is a collective sigh of relief for having achieved a longed-for goal. We come away having learned something! Ironically, the ceremony that tells us the end has come is called “commencement,” a word that clearly means beginning. How are we to interpret this paradox? We might go to the Glen for an answer, where each time one of the animals learns a lesson under the Wizard’s tutelage, s/he finds her/himself ready to begin living in a new, deeper way. And isn’t that what learning is all about: moving to new levels of understanding about ourselves and the world?
Question: From what ignorance (from the French, meaning “unknowing”) have you graduated recently? How will your life be different now?

As I always like to participate in these wonderful discussions, I find I have no answer to this question. I've really thought about it! Other than you can never "predict" what life will
"throw" at you, I feel a loss for words.... Maybe thats my answer ~ I've learned to deal with what life has to throw at me!
How about everyone else? :)
